Newcastle To New York

It's not every day you get invited to the USA to join a mini-tour of a band you really like but that's why I find myself at a rather deserted Newcastle airport this morning...

An hour later I'm in terminal 5 waiting for the gate...

Sadly the plane I was on ended up being cancelled so I had to wait for the next one a couple of hours later...

Arriving into JFK at around 10.00 p.m., feeling rather frazzled but happy to get into the hotel after about 23 hours on the go.
