Loved the chat on Soft Machine - and those tracks were superb...

I think the experiment worked - probably because the Soft Machine stuff lent itself to being talked over in places...

I thoroughly enjoyed the Soft Machine section.

I'm always looking to discover music that I missed the first time around in my formative years: late 60s / early 70s. In the Prog field this tends to be a disappointing exercise, and I'm now of the opinion that if I didn't listen to it then, it probably isn't worth listening to now.

In contrast, Jazz & Fusion still contains many gems that I wasn't previously aware of, and Soft Machine seems like a particularly bright and shiny one.
